Fantastical Duality

A painting, showcasing a duality between two forces/oppositions that inhabit the same plane of existence. The composition is divided into two contrasting sections, creating that sense of duality and how they both reflect and connect to one another. One side is dominated by brighter and more saturated colours such as greens, blues, and warm orange tones. This area suggests a landscape-like setting, though it feels surreal rather than naturalistic. Two figures appear suspended in motion, as if floating or falling through the space. The opposite side shows an almost reflection of the two figures and shifts into darker purples and deep blues, creating a more abstract and night-like environment. Although the two sides differ in colour and atmosphere, they are not completely separated. Forms and colours bleed into one another, making the boundary between the two spaces.
