Four Seasons

A series of 4 painting, showcasing the four seasons accompanied by a topiary animal. The composition is divided into four individual sections, creating that sense of harmony and how they reflect and connect to one another. The first represent Summer with a valley and mountain accompanied by a stag with varies shades/tones of green with some blue and small hints of yellow. The second represents Autumn/Fall with a forest and stream accompanied by a bear with warm reds, oranges, yellows and browns with some hints of green. The third represents Winter with a frozen pond with a waterfall accompanied by a wolf with cool blues, the occasional dark green, brown and white. The fourth represents Spring with lake and mountain range accompanied by a bird with almost pastel blues and greens with the occasional pinks. Although the four pieces differ in colour, theme and atmosphere, they are not completely separated. They can stand on their own but work better collectively to tell an amazing story that honours the four seasons and show how all are always connected..
